My husband found this site today and we are in shock! Like Ben, we also met Kimber at The Junction in Rockville, MD where she came and sang for us 2 times. She was just as friendly as could be...sat right down at our table and made us feel like old friends (before her show started). The first time she came out on stage (I'll never forget this...and I still tell the story), my husband fell backwards out of his chair! HA! The 2nd time she was there she was dancing around the rails while singing and I motioned to her to lean down and kiss my husband (of course he didn't see me doing this)...talk about One Happy Man! And he still talks about that :) We have pictures somewhere that we will send to you as soon as we find them and scan them.
Kimber has NEVER left our minds...we still dance to her songs every week.
RIP Kimber...you will live on in our minds and on the dancefloor forever...

I met Kimber many years ago at "Junction" in Rockville, Md where I Line Danced. She was packing so much energy and life that I fell in love with her. I am saddened to hear of her passing. A piece of me is gone with her.

Kimber was a talented singer who left us way too soon.

I was in a band who played between sets during Kimber's Jose Cuervo tour. What a sweetheart! My son (who still has a crush on her) found the website again and let me know she had passed. Our sincerest condolences. She was such a talent and absolutely gorgeous inside and out.

I fell in love with Kimber after watching her perform "I Know that Car" on Nashville Now and her interview with Ralph Emery. I remember them talking about the red flannel shirt. I just found this site tonight and had no idea she's no longer with us. It saddens me deeply. I have a friend who's very sick and in the hospital tonight, possibly losing his fight with cancer. Life is short. I was always sorry Kimber never got the exposure/promotion she deserved. Thanks for the memories. ....derek

I'm sorry I was never able to see her in person. I worked at a dance club in Knoxville, TN where I saw her autographed picture on the wall, I was unaware that she had visited there.
I wish I could have seen her perform in person.
I love her music and her energy of life is felt in her songs.
Her beauty and voice will live on in her songs and our hearts.
